The 4th Gordon Conference on Green Chemistry will be held at Queen's College, Oxford from Sunday July 11, to Friday, July, 16, 1999. The conference will open on the Sunday evening with an overview session made up of two keynote lectures, one related to green products and one on green processes. The remaining 8 sessions will cover the following major areas:

  • Catalysis (homogeneous, heterogeneous and biological
  • New Reaction Media
  • Cleaner Synthesis and Processing
  • Novel Reactor Technology and Screening Methods
  • Environmentally Friendly Materials

Sessions will incorporate invited lectures of 45 and 30 minute duration along with a small number of short oral presentations selected from an open call for abstracts. Authors of other suitable abstracts will be invited to prepare a poster presentation.
