NATURAL PRODUCTS

July 23-28, 2006
Tilton School
Tilton, NH

Chair:
Frederick A. Luzzio

Vice Chair:
David E. Uehling

Now in its 55th year the Gordon Research Conference on Natural Products continues to be a premier forum for cutting-edge developments in organic chemistry. Indeed, the founders of Natural Products recognized both the diversity and potential evolution of their science and the rich tradition will be carried forth in 2006. Areas such as chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, natural products isolation/structural elucidation, synthetic methods and total synthesis will be well-represented by speakers from academia and industry, home and abroad. The Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire has been the site for Natural Products since its 50th anniversary and will be the venue of our meeting during the week of the 23rd-28th of July, 2006. The accommodations at Tilton are comfortable, the staff are friendly and the site provides a range of personal-time activities. The scientific program of the 55th Natural Products includes the highly successful afternoon poster sessions. The poster sessions provide all conferees with the opportunity to present their latest research and exchange ideas in a more informal setting. Similar to the lectures, the poster presentations should represent work that has not been to a significant extent previously published. All conferees are encouraged to present poster presentations and should submit an abstract complete with title, authors and affiliation/address (one page) to both the Chair faluzz01@gwise.louisville.edu and the 2006 Vice-Chair, David Uehling david.e.uehling@gsk.com via e-mail. David Uehling will be responsible for both organizing the poster sessions and working with the Chair to select 2-3 poster abstracts for short talk presentations. Again, please submit your poster abstracts directly to the Chair and Vice-Chair to ensure that they will be considered and included in the conference program.
